The White House made an announcement on Saturday that the President Obama will make an address regarding the San Bernardino shooting on Sunday night from the Oval Office. In the press statement Josh Earnest, press secretary informed that the president will speak on the initiatives the government is taking to keep American citizens safe. The presidential address will be on the investigation updates on the San Bernardino shooting that happened on Wednesday killing 14 people. The investigation by the FBI is on the lines of the act of terrorism. Obama will also speak on the nature of terrorism in the broader and how to combat it. Earnest continued that the president will reiterate that the destruction of ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq) by uplifting the justice, equality and freedom by dominating the terrorist groups that resort to violence using destructive ideology.
On Friday FBI Director, James Corney said that the San Bernardino attackers Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, Farook’s wife have been radicalized and may have been influenced by terrorist organizations from abroad. But there is more to the story, he finished. CBS News was informed that Malik gave her support to ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghadi on Facebook under an alias name. Though, ISIS has not claimed any responsibility for San Bernardino attack. Meanwhile on Saturday an audio statement on the attack was released by ISIS calling the attackers as “soldiers of the Caliphate.”
